Khabarindiaonline: Former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson has exuded confidence that India’s tour of Australia starting with limited overs series in the last week of November, would be much better compared to England.
Watson, who has played 59 Tests, 190 ODIs and 58 T20Is for his country told news agency PTI that it was not easy to play swing bowling.
He said it would not even be easy for Australia when they travel to England for Ashes next year.
Watson said England is the only place where the ball swings that much primarily due to conditions.
He said one just can’t land in England once every three years and be successful. He said in Australia, the ball will stop swinging after first 10 or maybe 15 overs unlike Dukes ball manufactured in England which can swing all day.
For Watson, no international team is playing swing bowling well these days and that is reflective on their overseas performance. ( Source: AIRN ).
